A simple stock plan for a busy office

Most offices order stationery when someone complains. That is expensive. A short list of the twenty items you actually use, with a monthly quantity next to each, removes the emergency runs.
Count once a month on a fixed date. Order the difference. Store the fast movers where staff can reach them and the slow movers where they will not walk away.
Ask your supplier to keep your list on file. A repeat order takes a minute when the list already exists, and pricing stays consistent from month to month.
